Dear Sir Gilbert Grindle,

102. Dean Street.

OXFORD STREET. W 1

21st March!

1924.

Herewith the promised copy of the letter received from the Bishop of Singapore.

As I expect you know, a deputation of Members of the House of Commons is meeting Mr.Thomas on this question on Tuesday after- noon, the 25th, and I have been invited to attend as a Secretary on that occasion. They are suggesting the establishment of a little Committee to which questions of this nature might be referred in order that we may avoid undue publicity with re- ference to these difficult subjects in the House of Commons. I hope the suggestion will meet with your approval.

If you would like to see me on the matter beforehand I shall be very glad to give you any information you may wish to have.

Yours sincerely,

Muille hole.

General Secretary.
